Established in September 1872, Holy Trinity Church in Westfield is rooted in the Catholic Christian faith, evidenced by a vibrant community formed by Word, Witness, and Welcome. With a thriving elementary school, dynamic Faith Formation for children and adults, an active youth ministry program, and an engaging music program that enhances our Liturgical celebrations, Holy Trinity is moving forward with the Gospel message at its heart.

The Role
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic professional to serve Holy Trinity Parish by developing, managing, and delivering a comprehensive and effective communication strategy in collaboration with the Pastor, Pastoral Staff,
Finance and Pastoral Councils.

 The Value You Deliver

• Serve as primary strategist and content creator of all digital & print communications.

• Maintain & update the parish website.

• Create flyers, posters, and marketing materials to promote events.

• Develop content and post to social media outlets, local digital sites & newspapers.

• Maintain Zoom account and host Zoom meetings and occasional Webinars.

• Prepare & manage Communications Budget.

• Support the Director of Media with content for livestream events.

• Update & educate the parish leaders on communication opportunities.

• Participate in bi-monthly staff meetings.

The Skills You Bring

• Degree/2+ years experience in communications, social media management, marketing, or journalism preferred.

• Proven skill in crafting written content with attention to detail.

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Social Media, and database management.

• Skilled in operating graphic design software (Canva, Publisher, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software).

• Web design (Squarespace or similar web design platform).

• Capable of collaborating effectively with team members.

• Ability to anticipate and plan for necessary deadlines.

• Experience with the Catholic tradition and ministering in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Additional Information:

• Part-time position of 25 hours per week, including some evening and weekend hours.

• Report directly to the Pastor.

• Salary commensurate with experience.
